Stable two-dimensional direction of arrival estimation method based on sparse representation

2015
The invention discloses a stable two-dimensional direction of arrival estimation method based on sparse representation, for mainly solving the problem of incapability of avoiding a base mismatch in two-dimensional direction of arrival estimation in the prior art. The method provided by the technical scheme comprises the following steps: 1, receiving radar echoes by use of a rectangular antenna array; 2, performing discretization on a detection area and constructing a pitching-dimension and orientation-dimension base matrix; 3, by use of the sparsity of a target in the detection area, solving a two-dimensional spectrum matrix in an optimization mode through an alternative iteration method; 4, according to the pitching-dimension and orientation-dimension base matrix, constructing a pitching-dimension and orientation-dimension one-order derivative matrix; 5, solving pitching-dimension and orientation-dimension offset vectors by use of the alternative iteration method; and 6, calculating a pitch angle and an azimuth of a target position by use of the two-dimensional spectrum matrix and the pitching-dimension and orientation-dimension offset vectors. According to the invention, the method can solve the problem of base mismatch in the two-dimensional direction of arrival estimation and has the advantage of accurate target position estimation, thereby being applied to target direction finding of a radar.
