Silver- and selenium-containing bioactive nanosystems based on zosterin and methylcellulose
2019
Novel selenium- and silver-containing nanosystems based on biocompatible polymer stabilizers (BPS) of various natures, zosterin and methylcellulose (MC), were synthesized.
AFM images of zosterin and MC film surfaces prepared from aqueous solutions on mica, well illustrate the significant differences in the morphology of used biocompatible polymer stabilizers.
It was established that under applied synthesis conditions, silver-containing nanosystems have smaller sizes than selenium-containing nanosystems.
Larger nanostructures (nanoclusters) with a spherical morphology were observed, when MC has been used as a biocompatible polymer stabilizer.
