The polarized neutron reflectometer “Reverans”

Abstract The polarized neutron reflectometer “Reverans” with a vertical plane of scattering is being installed at the VVR-M reactor (Gatchina, Russia). It will be used for research on phase boundaries, interfaces and free surfaces. Systems under study can be both magnetic and nonmagnetic ones. At present the installation of the reflectometer is at the final stage. The parameters and abilities of the reflectometer are presented.
