Hyperalgesia syndrome in the early postoperative period

This article shows the mechanisms of postoperative pain syndrome and the development of postoperative pathologic mechanisms of syndrome complex. Components of postoperative pain were considered. The role of anesthesia quality was shown as an integral part of intensive therapy after surgery. The article presents a classification of analgesic drugs. The high-tech methods of postoperative pain anesthesia such as analgesia controlled by patient and prolonged epidural anesthesia were described. The paper presents the principles of treatment of postoperative pain.
