A view on Systems of Systems (SoS)

This paper presents literature review on Systems of Systems (SoS), a type of complex systems thats are being more recognised for their importance recently. SoS exist across multiple domains, and thus multiple visions of what they are and how they are used. Traditional systems engineering is not enough to address the challenges of SoS because of their complexity. The solution however to build and manage SoS is through an architecture framework that contains the " invariants " of the SoS in question, and the set of rules that manage the interactions between components.
