Application of a water-dispersible supporting core of a filler and a binder, which consists at least partially of a condensed phosphate, and poly (meth) acrylic acid, in a process for producing a hollow structural component from fiber-reinforced plastic, wherein the supporting core is beflochten with the reinforcing fibers, whereupon the fibers are impregnated on the support core with a curable plastic and the support core is flushed after the curing of the resin with water.
