Electrode for non-aqueous electrolyte battery, non-aqueous electrolyte battery, and battery pack

2015
An electrode for non-aqueous electrolyte battery according to an embodiment of this invention comprises a collector, and a mixture layer formed on one of the surfaces or both surfaces of the collector. The mixture layer contains an active substance and a binding agent. In an infrared absorption spectrum of the mixture layer measured by total reflectometry, the ratio I 2 /I 1 , which is between the strongest peak intensity I 1 among the peaks appearing in a wavelength range of 2200 to 2280 cm -1 and the strongest peak intensity I 2 among the peaks appearing in a wavelength range of 1400 to 1480 cm -1 , is 10 to 20 inclusive. Alternatively, the mixture layer is such that, in an infrared absorption spectrum measured by total reflectometry, the ratio I 3 /I 2 , which is between the strongest peak intensity I 3 among the peaks appearing in a wavelength range of 1650 to 1850 cm -1 and the strongest peak intensity I 2 among the peaks appearing in the wavelength range of 1400 to 1480 cm -1 , is 0.1 to 0.8 inclusive.
