Multi-antenna system designed in metal frame with metal back cover for LTE/GPS application

A multi-antenna system designed in metal frame with metal back cover for the LTE 5/8/20/28/GPS operation is presented for the LTE mobile device. The low-band antenna has a size of 77 × 7 mm 2 and a switch circuit connected to the branch. By using switch circuit, the bandwidth of low-band antenna could cover 758∼960 MHz operation. Results of the fabricated multi-antenna system are presented.
