GENERAL LAYOUT OF THE ELECTRICAL CALCULATION OF CONTACT LINES FOR ALTERNATING CURRENT TRACTION

An illustration is given of a general procedure for the electrical calculation of alternating current contact lines, taking account of track earth dispersion, including the calculation of the longitudinal electromotive forces induced in adjacent parallel conductors. The application to single phase alternating current traction is also illustrated for the case of a system equipped with transformers and a system with feeders in phase opposition and autotransformers.
