Some peculiarities in ionic charge distributions of 241Pu(nth, f)-fission products
1989
Abstract The plutonium-241 thermal neutron induced fission product ionic charge distributions were measured over the mass number range of 129 ⩽ A ⩽ 149 and at kinetic energies E k from 60 MeV to 80 MeV. Structural peculiarities are vividly illustrated by the plots of q ( A ) and σ q ( A ) functions. The pattern of the plots is shown to be influenced by the kinetic energy. A semiempirical formula is proposed for the separation of a converted part in the fission product ionic charge distribution.
