COLETA VIDEOLAPAROSCÓPICA E ANÁLISE MICROBIOLÓGICA DA BILE DE SUÍNOS

2016
The aim of this study was to investigate the feasibility of video-assisted percutaneous bile collection for microbiological analysis in hogs. Were used 11 Landrace swines originating from the same matrix. The procedure consisted of exposure laparoscopic of the biliary tract and collect bile. To collect bile, one needle was positioned on the right costal margin and, the animal through the skin, was inserted into the abdominal cavity; for the image generated on the laparoscopic monitor, the needle was guided by the body of the gallbladder, where it was introduced and proceeded aspiration of 3.0 ml of the bile. The bile collected was sown in Petri dishes containing, individually, culture media Blood agar, CLED agar and Sabouraud agar. The procedure went satisfactorily in all animals, no significant complications occurring during the same and providing easy identification and management of the hepatic parenchyma, as well as exposure of the hepatic hilum and gallbladder. The healing of surgical wounds was considered satisfactory and timely. In microbiological tests, no colonies of bacteria or fungi found in the cultures performed and analyzed within the filing period, which may be associated with low age of animals used.
