Dye dispersion liquid

The invention relates to a pigment disoersion liquid which can form a coating film with a higher transparency and contrast, wherein the decentrality of the pigment and the solubleness of the decentralized resin are excellent and the coating capability is high. The pigment disoersion liquid contains pigment and organic solvents which are at least one organic solvent selected from (a) hydroxycarboxylate compound groups composed of hydroxycarboxylate of which the carbon atom number of the carboxylic acid part is 2-6, (b) acetoxy carboxylate compound groups composed of acetoxy carboxylate of which the carbon atom number of the carboxylic acid part is 2-6, and (c) alkoxy carboxylate compound groups composed of alkoxy carboxylate of which the carbon atom number of the carboxylic acid part is 2-6.
