Study on Drilling Tools for Ti/Carbon Fibre Interlaminated Composites

There are some defects such as delamination and tools chipping etc. in drilling Ti/Carbon fibre interlaminated composites. To look for countermeasures, a special drill is developed considering tool material, geometry, coatings, cutting edge strengthening and drilling technology.
