Administrative clerks and nurse's aides in domiciliary palliative care teams handle, as part of their tasks, persons in recent mourning (telephone notice of death of a family member, visits to the Unit to return leftover medication...). Normally they have not received specific formation to handle these types of situations. In this report, we present the protocol of intervention we have designed for such situations, which includes the phases of reception, encounter and dismissal and we also include comments regarding the organization of interdisciplinary team work integrating the contributions of all members.
