Objective: The research aimed to analyze the clinical and epidemiological profile of patients with acute coronary syndrome treated at a Hospital Emergency. This is a descriptive study; retrospective and exploratory document analysis with a quantitative approach. Methodology: The sample of 150 medical records for the second half of 2012. Results: The results were: Acute myocardial infarction without ST segment above was the most frequent diagnosis with 49.3% males to 65.3%, mean age 65 years, married with 62.7%, and 40.0% had incomplete primary education, hypertension with 68.0%, 93.3% to chest pain, treatment adjunctive therapy with 61.3%, with 31.3% and death. Conclusion: Therefore, the study allowed the epidemiological and clinical profile of patients with acute coronary syndrome, confirming that the population most affected by acute coronary syndrome are the elderly, male and presented with chest pain.
