Small-power 4 stator-pole stator-ferrite PMSM single-phase self-starting motor drive: FEM-based optimal design and controlled dynamics

This paper presents a four stator-pole stator-ferrite permanent magnet synchronous machine single-phase self-starting small motor drive in terms of: adopted topology, FEM assisted optimization design and controlled dynamic model simulation results for P N =85W, I N =0.65A, V DC =290V (single phase inverter fed), n N =3000rpm, for an electrical efficiency of 87%.
