The online motorcycle taxi profession is a promising profession today because so many people use their services. This makes many people start to pursue this profession, not only men, but women also undergo a lot of this profession. Large companies that are operators of online motorcycle taxi applications in Indonesia are Gojek and Grab. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is still discrimination based on gender experienced by women online motorcycle taxi drivers, what are the forms and what are their reactions or efforts in dealing with the problem. The research data comes from reporting on online news portals for the period December 2017 to June 2019. Data collection techniques using samples with specific objectives. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive quantitative content analysis techniques. The results showed that 85% of the selected news reported the occurrence of discrimination because of gender that befalls the women's online motorcycle taxi. Forms of gender bias include: canceled / canceled the order knowing that the driver is a woman (18%), asked to exchange positions as a driver by a male passenger (18%), being bullied (6%), either tempted either as well as through messages, WA, telephone (18%), physically harassed such as: held in a body part, beaten, etc. (41%). Reactions or attempts made in dealing with such discrimination include: Accepting swapping of the steering position with passengers (23%), Refusing to exchange steering positions with passengers, When in danger, contacting driver friends via the WA group, If harassed, speed up the vehicle so that quickly arrived, despite being physically abused still professionally complete the order, Neutralize through vent via video on social media, ignoring the telephone, messages, WA from former passengers.
