Device for inontophoresis

PURPOSE: To provide a device for iontophoresis, which can prevent occurrence of a risk such that the tissue is damaged when a conductor part makes contact with the tissue. CONSTITUTION: A tubular catheter 1 is composed of a terminal end part 2 closed at each end, and adapted to be inserted in the human body during use, and an internal gap through which a liquid medium for iontophoressis which is medically effective. An electrode 4 is provided in the terminal end part of the catheter, and is electrically connected to a current generator. The positions of the inner gap of the catheter and a plurality of holes 6 therein are limited in the terminal end part of the catheter, and the holes 6 are distributed in a section of the terminal end part corresponding to at least a part of an enlarged part of the electrode in the internal gap.
