¨El Arquillo¨, un cuento alrededor de la Vía de la Plata

The research focuses on the dissemination of Extremadura's cultural landscape, specifically the Villa del Arco, a local heritage with the ADENEX 2012 award, located in the Sierra de Canaveral (Caceres), on the Via de la Plata. Thanks to its centenary, its crystalline water pylons and its church dating from 1847, make this village with four inhabitants, a magical place to rest from the pilgrimage, despite being 4 km from the center of Canaveral, stop of Stage XII of the Via de la Plata. Using the illustrated albums, the almost wordless ¨El Arquillo was designed, with the ultimate aim of providing a playful, touristic and international material that shows through the visual language the most outstanding aspects of the visitor's environment and promotes patrimonial education for children. The study is carried out from a double perspective when investigating in the pedagogical and tourist range. In addition to promoting complementary routes to the Via de la Plata as it passes through Canaveral, fostering the opening of the hostel located in Villa del Arco.
