Preparation Technique of HMX Coated by Nano TATB Based PBX

The sensitivity of high explosive HMX can be definitely reduced by the preparation of core-shell HMX@TATB, with the high energy reserved, which showed potential in the fields of insensitive munition and safe propellants. The preparation process played a key role for the related performance and subsequent application. The stirring speed, temperature and the adding speed of polymer binder were investigated for the preparation of core-shell explosives, and the stable preparation technic of HMX coated by nano TATB based PBX was obtained on a 100 g scale.
