Optimization and improvement of the gas turbine engine exhaust based on hydraulic and acoustic characteristics

The results of the gas turbine engine muffler were obtained. Acoustic broadband noise characteristics are investigated for various design options of mufflers. In this research, the design of the muffler with the least hydraulic losses and noise level over a wide spectrum of frequencies has been determined. Numerical and experimental results were compared. Based on the results of the work, the optimal design of the muffler was received.
