Research on Optimization of Haematococcus Pluvialis Cultivation and Culture Medium

2020
The Haematococcus Pluvialis is a kind of green algae commonly found in nature. It belongs to the order of Cyanophyta, Haematococaceae. The development process of Haematococcus Pluvialis can be divided into two stages: swimming and non-swimming. During the non-swimming stage, a large amount of astaxanthin will accumulate, making it has the highest astaxanthin among microalgae. As the economic value of astaxanthin such as antioxidants has been continuously excavated and applied, the extraction of astaxanthin from Haematococcus Pluvialis has become an industry area that is generally concerned by society. As a kind of algae, the cultivation process needs to rely on external material factors such as light and trace elements. Therefore, in the further improvement and development of biological science and technology, through the research on the cultivation status of Haematococcus Pluvialis, it is of practical and theoretical significance to propose a medium optimization scheme.
