Recent development of compact microwave filtering structures based on multilayer LCP technology

Multilayer liquid crystal polymer (LCP) circuit technology has become very attractive for the development of compact and low-cost planar microwave filters. This paper is aimed to give an overview of recent development of this type of filter. Examples will be given in light of simulated and measured results.
