The Pregnancy Assistance Fund: Launching Programs to Support Expectant and Parenting Youth

This report describes early grant implementation among the 17 states and Indian tribes awarded 2013 Pregnancy Assistance Fund (PAF) grants. Drawing upon review of grant applications and telephone interviews with grant administrators, it presents findings on grant strategy and context, administration, and program design and implementation. It highlights the opportunities and challenges grantees faced in their efforts to launch PAF-funded programs to support expectant and parenting youth and provides a brief profile of each grantee.
