Multi-spectral system and method for generating multi-dimensional temperature data

In one embodiment, a system (10) includes an imaging system (36) configured to receive an image of a gas (80) and a surface observable through the gas(80) from an interior of a turbine (18), to split the image into a first two-dimensional intensity map of wavelengths indicative of a temperature of the gas (80) and a second two-dimensional intensity map of wavelengths indicative of a temperature of the surface, and to output signals indicative of the first and second two-dimensional intensity maps.
