The Analysis of Key Arguments on Abolishment of Death Penalty in Contemporary China

The arguments on whether to keep or abohsh the death penalty in contemporary China mainly focus on those four points;whether the death penalty is righteous,whether the death penalty is necessary, whether the death penalty is humanitarian,and whether the public opinions should be collected for such a decision.Those who believe the death penalty should be abolished hold that the death penalty is unnecessary and not humanitarian at all,but those who hold the opposite believe that the death penalty is an action of justice.Those who insist on abolishing the death penalty think that the public opinions should not be considered but those who hold the opposite believe that public opinions are a basic rule for a final decision.
