Fuzzy Models of the Dangerous Situations Prediction

2021
Abstract One of the main problems of modern sea and inland water transport is ensuring the safety of navigation. This problem is caused by the influence of various factors, both directly on the vessels and on the personnel of their operators. It should be noted that one of the key elements of ensuring the safety of navigation is ensuring the safety of navigation of vessels. Every day navigators face many situations directly related to the safety of navigation. These situations are random in nature, and statistical data for most of these situations are missing or incomplete, which does not allow us to find high-quality solutions based on the use of modern computing systems. In addition, do not forget about the influence of the human factor on situational decisions. However, the prospects for the introduction of unmanned technologies in water transport require the use of special computational approaches that allow us to obtain appropriate assessments of situations related to ensuring the safety of navigation. In this paper, the authors propose several variants of fuzzy models that can be used to predict dangerous situations on sea and inland water transport. The article also provides examples of their possible use. Special attention is paid to the possibility of predicting the impact of the human factor on the occurrence of dangerous situations.
