Expression of chemokine receptor CXCR7 in gastric carcinoma with peritoneum metastases
2016
Objective:To study the relationship of chemokine receptor CXCR7 expression with peritoneum metastasis in gastric carcinoma. Methods:The CXCR7 expressions of gastric carcinoma tissues in 43 patients with peritoneum metastasis(metastasis group)and 50 patients without metastasis(control group)were determined by immunohistochemistry method, and the relationship between the CXCR7 expression in peritoneum metastases and clinicopathological data was analyzed. The Logistic Regression was used to analyze the risk factors of peritoneum metastasis in gastric carcinoma. Results:The CXCR7 expression of tumor tissues in metastasis group was significantly higher than that in control group(P <0.05).The CXCR7 expression in peritoneum metastasis tissues was obviously related with tumor size, invasion depth and differentiation(P<0.05).The independent risk factors of peritoneum metastasis in gastric carcinoma included tumor size, invasion depth, differentiation and the CXCR7 expression in primary tumors. Conclusion:The chemokine receptor CXCR7 is over-expressed in gastric carcinoma, and may promote the peritoneum metastasis.
