Process Reconstruction of a Waterworks in Laiwu City

Considering the problems caused by the pollution,such as the high content of algae,TN exceeding the standard,the taste and odor and the nitrite exceeding the standard,the original conventional treatment process was reconstructed based on the ample demonstration.The ozone/activated carbon process was used,the original structures were fully used,the horizontal flow sedimentation tank was reconstructed into the air-floatation/inclined-tube sedimentation tank,and the treatment capacity was increased.After the reconstruction,the problems of original treatment process,such as the process lag,overload operation of some structures and so on were solved.The finished water quality met the requirement of the Standards for Drinking Water Quality(GB 5749-2006).
