A New 6kW Wireless V2H System with Synchronized Parallel Bidirectional Single-Ended Converters and Bi-Fila Coils

2019
Wide diffusion of smart houses is expected to establish low carbon society, but the high cost of storage battery prevents spreading of the system. Vehicle to Home (V2H) system is the key to effective cost reduction of smart house systems, because electric vehicles (EVs) can assist energy storage apparatus in the system. A wireless V2H system can eliminate the power cable in the conventional V2H and improve convenience and safety, but the system consists of bridge type inverters which are high cost and complex construction. Then we developed previously a single ended wireless V2H which is low cost, simple and small size. Wireless V2H systems are required higher transfer power of 6kW that can cover all appliances power in private houses. In this paper, proposed has been a 6kW wireless V2H system with synchronized parallel bidirectional single-ended converters and bi-fila power transfer coils.
