Geological Characteristics of Songhu Iron Deposit in Nilka County,Xinjiang

Nilka Songhu iron deposit is situated at east Awulale Range,moreover,in regional tectonics,it is located in Ili micro-block of Kazakhstan plate,the three tectonic units are belong to Awulale-Yisjilick late Paleozoic rift system.Deposit developed in sedimentary environment of marine volcanic rock and pyroclastic rock in upper subformation of Dahalajunshan Formation(C1ad),it is found that the orebody is hosted in formation,which is made up of a set of pyroclastic rock-carbonate rock-andesitic porphyrite.And finally introduced in the paper,the Songhu iron deposit is a weakly magnetic sedimentary deposit related to marine volcanic-intrusive activity.
