The results of the investigation into the influence of the brown ironstone ore additions to the sintering mix in the form of the fine pulp during pelletizing on sinter manufacturing indicators have been presented. The brown ironstone ore has been supplied from the Novokievskoe deposit in the Orenburg region. The rational conditions of the utilization of the brown ironstone ore additions from the Novokievskoe deposit have been determined. The conditions provide the improvements in the indicators of the sintering process and in the quality of the sinter for the terms in the sintering shop at the AO "Ural'skaya Stal'".
