Simulator driving a vehicle

The apparatus for simulated driving of a vehicle comprises a base (1) and a vehicle body simulator (2) which is supported on the base (1) with a bi-axial freedom of rotation about a roll axis (3) and around a pitch axis (5). A pair of linear actuators (7) is disposed at a position shifted to one side in the axial direction of one of the roll axes (3) and pitch (5), that is to say offset to one side axial to the roll axis (3) relative to the pitch axis (5). The cylinders (7, 7) are arranged symmetrically with respect to a plane which intersects at right angles to the pitch axis (5) and which comprises an axial line of the roll axis (3). A fixing element (7b) and a movable member (7a) of each of cylinders (7, 7) are respectively coupled to the base (1) and the vehicle body simulator (2) via joints ball (8, 9).
