Synthesis and polymerization of p-nitrophenylacetylene

1. Starting with the ethyl ester of p-nitrocinnamic acid, the method for the synthesis of p-nitrophenylacetylene was improved. 2. The thermal polymerization of p-nitrophenylacetylene and some of the properties of the obtained polymers were studied.
