Module components and methods of use thereof

The invention relates to a device module, in particular the sensor module comprising at least: a voltage generating means (1), in particular a battery (1), having a top surface and a bottom surface and two terminal poles (P, M), a substrate (2), on the substrate top conductors (10, 12, 14) are formed, of which at least two conductor tracks (10, 12) with the terminal poles (P, M) are connected and at least one further conductor track (14) as a connection conductor track (14) is free from contact with the terminal poles, a component (25), in particular the sensor chip (25) on the interconnects (10, 12, 14) is mounted on the upper substrate side and makes contact, whereby the voltage generating means (1) is a part of the substrate (2) and in the substrate (2) has a supporting function. The device module according to the invention can in particular be used for measuring air pressure in vehicle tires and has a compact structure which can withstand high forces and temperatures and low thermal shear forces is subjected. It can be especially vulcanized into the rubber material of vehicle tire.
