Progress in the isolation of inhibin like activity(ies) from different sources: A 1981 report

This brief status report is based on the round table discussion on inhibin at which progress in purification was one of the topics discussed. During the past 3–4 years more and more reports on the purification of ILA have appeared. Although in many instances recovery problems persist, the difficulties are not insurmountable. With the participation of more laboratories in the isolation work, we can expect significant new data on the identification of ILA and resolution of many outstanding issues.
