3D Simulation for Pneumatic System in Cigarette Makers of Different Piping Structure

CFD 3D technology was adopted to simulate the pneumatic systems in cigarette makers with centralized piping or conventional piping.The simulation results showed that: under the same pressure at the system's outlet and the same air volume from each branch pipe's inlet,the pressure value in each branch pipe in a centralized piping was basically the same as the setting output pressure value with the maximal relative error of 3.33%;while the said maximal relative error in a conventional piping was 5.83%.The simulation results provided reference for the design and engineering application of pneumatic system in cigarette makers with different piping structure.
