Bioaccumulated Content Of Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd) And Copper (Cu) In Various Sizes Of Shell Tofu (Meretrix Meretrix) In Waters Of Pangempang, Muara Badak District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency

2018
Muara Badak is a coastal area located in Kutai Kartanegara Regency which has the potential to be contaminated with Pb, Cd and Cu metal from the results of oil and gas activities, mining and plantations that are controlled around the waters. This study aims to determine the content of Pb, Cd and Cu in tofu shells, based on location and size of shells. The main parameters observed were heavy metals Pb, Cd and Cu in Tofu Shells, Water and Sediment with water quality as supporting parameters. The results showed that the highest Pb content was found in small-sized tofu shells located at station IV, the highest Cd was found in the large-sized tofu shells at the highest II and Cu stations found in small-sized tofu shells located at station IV. From statistical analysis, Cu metal content is significantly different between stations. Pb and Cu content is highest in small-sized shells and the highest Cd in large-sized shells. The Pb content is significantly different in each size, the Cd content between small shells is significantly different from large and medium size large shellfish and the content of Cu between small shells is significantly different from the large size. The content of Cd and Cu in Tofu Shells is still relatively safe, because it is still below the standard quality standards set, except Cu metal at station IV which exceeds the quality standards set by the Director General of POM No. 037/25 / B / SKVII / 1989. Whereas the metal Pb on the four stations has exceeded the quality standards set by SNI 7387 of 2009.
