Least Squares Channel Estimation of an OFDM Massive MIMO System for 5G Wireless Communications

A Least Squares Channel Estimation (LSCE) method is designated for an Massive MIMO systems combined with Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) system. In this paper, the OFDM technique is founded on pilot tones. The Mean Square Error (MSE) of the LSCE is described in which the estimated channel is computed first. Simulation shows that when we increase the Base Station (BS) antennas, the linear detectors such as MMSE and ZF provide a best performance of Bit Error Rate (BER).
