Compounds of formula (I) are useful for the treatment of the same cancers for which taxol HAS BEEN SHOWN THAT IS ACTIVE, INCLUDING THE OVARIAN CANCER HUMAN, breast cancer, and melanoma MALIGNO WELL AS LUNG CANCER, GASTRIC CANCER, colon cancer, head and neck cancer, and leukemia.
