Supination-Adduction Injuries

In Supination-adduction injuries, the starting position of the foot is one of supination (plantarflexion, adduction, inversion). The pathologic talar motion is that of adduction (medial rotation of the talus about its longitudinal axis, frequently associated with some degree of internal rotation and/or medial translation of talus) (Fig. 8.1).
