Acid and alkali crosslinking proton exchange membrane and preparation thereof

2011
The invention discloses an acid and alkali crosslinking proton exchange membrane and preparation thereof. The acid and alkali crosslinking proton exchange membrane is made by blending the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 50-95% of sulfonated polyether ether ketone with sulfonation degree of 60-90%, and 5-50% of polyether ether ketone-benzimidazole with a structure shown as a formula (I) and a molecular weight Mn of 20,000-100,000 g/mol; in the formula (I), x is more than 0, y is not less than 0, Arl is a structure shown as a formula (II), and Ar2 is structure shown as a formula (III) or a formula (IV). The proton exchange membrane has the advantages of high compatibility, high alcohol resistance, low cost, high proton conductivity, high thermal stability, swelling resistance and the like, and is applicable to a PEMFC (Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell), in particular to proton exchange membrane materials for direct methanol fuel cells.
