Abstract Array based strategies on disposable screen printed electrodes (SPE) for detecting disease-specific biomarkers with high specificity and sensitivity are being explored as potential clinical diagnostic tools. Herein, we report the design of an electrochemical array with quantum dot (QD) decorated multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT) framework to perform the direct detection of multiple picomolar concentrations of insulin, an important biomarker for diagnosing diabetes, in physiological buffer.
