Static and dynamic performances of the electromagnetic suspension

A system for controlling electromagnetic suspension built according to the principal of coordinate slave control is presented. The dynamic and static performances of an electromagnetic suspension under the development of control and basic action are analyzed. The process of rotor displacement during system startup is calculated taking into account the main nonlinearities.
