Life History of the Rounded Pierrot Tarucus nara (Lepidoptera: Rhopalocera: Lycaenidae) in South India

The life history of the rounded pierrot ＂Tarucus nara＂ in south India was studied. On the basis of searches the morphology of adults, eggs, larvae and pupae were observed. Besides, the population index of ＂T. nara＂ on ＂Zizuphus jujube＂ leaves was discussed.
