PURPOSE: An electrophotographic printer having an OHP detector is provided to detect an OHP film even when the printer has a plurality of paper-feeding devices. CONSTITUTION: An electrophotographic printer includes at least one paper-feeding unit, a printing unit, a transfer roller(109), and an OHP film detector(150). The printing unit transfers a toner image onto a recording medium supplied from the paper-feeding unit and applies heat and pressure to the recording medium to fix the toner image on the recording medium. The transfer roller is located between the paper-feeding unit and the printing unit and transfers the recording medium to the printing unit at a predetermined speed. The OHP film detector is located between the transfer roller and the printing unit and judges whether the recording medium is an OHP film or not.
