Computer aided measurement of magnetic properties of wound cores

Abstract A computerised system has been developed to automate measurement of magnetic properties of wound cores. The system is capable of magnetising cores up to 5 kg in weight to flux densities up to 1.8 T, 50 Hz and numerically calculates W/kg, VA/kg and A/m, carries out harmonic analysis and plots B / H characteristics.
