Study on hardwood cutting propagation of Spatholobus suberectus.

Comparative experiments of seedling cultivation by soft cottage of Spatholobus suberectus were conducted on different concentration of different hormones,different operation time,different aged mother plant,different scion size.The results showed that it had the best effect of rooting rate(84.7%) when cuttings were soaked 2 hours in mixed solution of 100 mg/L of IBA and 200mg/L of ABT2.The suitable cutting time was from late December to mid-January,with the survival rate to 82.7%.Cuttings needed about 40 days for rooting and new shoot sprouting.It had significant effect of age for hard cuttings Mother branch with more than 8 years should not be cutting.Rooting rate of cuttings could reach 81.3%-85.0% with scions diameter of 0.7-1.0 cm.
