Implementation of a Three-level SVPWM Algorithm Based on DSP

There are always complicated sector identification and duty cycle calculations that would normally involve trigonometric function calculations or look-up tables in the conventional three-level SVPWM algorithms,thus taking up much controller resource.A novel SVPWM algorithm which is very fast and easy to implement is analyzed.It is developed from the basis of vector synthesis.With this algorithm,switching vectors which synthesize the reference vector need can be easily identified and their duty ratios can be obtained straightforwardly.The derivation of the algorithm and the steps of implementation are given.The experimental results with its implement on DSP are then presented for verification.
