I&R search represents an important stage of a translator's activities in the domain of professional communication as it allows the deepest and complete comprehension of a foreign language text in order to make its adequate translation to the native language. To form the skills of R&I search its phases were marked out as well as the necessary abilities and skills were defined and recommendations of its development given.
